Burnley FC Global Fanbase Growth and 60% Increase in Premium Sales

Through our partnership with Seat Unique, we have delivered significant commercial and audience growth by transforming our online premium and hospitality sales strategy at Turf Moor.
Following our return to the Premier League in 2023, we appointed Seat Unique as our official online premium and hospitality partner. Seat Unique became our primary digital sales engine for premium inventory across Premier League and domestic cup fixtures.
Within the first year of the partnership, online match-by-match premium and hospitality sales increased from just 1% of total sales to 60%, representing a major shift in how we monetise our premium inventory. Nearly half of all online premium sales were directly driven by Seat Unique’s marketing and distribution capabilities, significantly improving the efficiency and reach of our commercial operations.

The partnership has also expanded our international footprint. Around one third of premium bookings now come from fans outside the UK, with the United States accounting for approximately 10% of all premium sales. Despite this growth in international demand, local supporters remain central to the experience, with UK fans still representing 69% of total premium bookings.
